We had a very good Christmas this year! Christmas Eve we went to my brother and sister-n-law's house. Tracy's family also comes and we enjoy spending time with them! Brian and Tracy have been together for about 17 years (married for 10) and her parents and sister seem like my own!!! Christmas Day was VERY hectic!! Jason, Cooper and I had Christmas at our house that morning. Next, we went to Jason's parents for lunch. We then made it to Plain Dealing around 4:00 PM. We went to the cemetary first so I could put a "Paw" on my Daddy's grave. I know Cooper would have loved his "Paw". . . . We then we went to my grandparent's house. It is so hard for me to see them sometimes. Their pain from my Daddy's death is still so fresh. I never think you should have to bury a child and I pray that God lends me Cooper for as long as I am here on earth. After we visited with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins we went to my Mom's for supper. I have to say we really had a wonderful time at her house. Howard is so sweet to Cooper and I have decided as long as you are good to my child then I can try to accept you. My brother, sister-n-law and their two kids, Tyler and Eli, were also there! The kids played and they love Cooper so much!!! We then made it back to our house around 7:30 that night. We really had a very good Christmas and I am just grateful for all I have been blessed with this year!

This past Sunday Cooper had Baby Dedication at our church. There were 18 babies that participated in the program. Coop got a blue Bible with his name on it and a certificate! They had a slideshow of pics and a presentation of all the parents and babies. Coop was very tired and we didnt get the best pics of the program but it was still a wonderful day! What a blessing to be able to dedicate our special gift from God!

I had the week off from work and Cooper and I enjoyed every minute of being home!! We had Thanksgiving with my family on Thursday and then went to Magnolia on Saturday to have Thanksgiving with Jason's family. The LSU/Arkansas game was Friday and I was so disappointed that LSU lost! (Of course Jason was thrilled)!

I have sooooo much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! Cooper has brought SO much joy and happiness to our family this year. He really is my gift from God and I am so grateful that I get to be his Mom! I miss my Daddy and wish he could be here to see Cooper. I know he would be so proud of him!

Cooper and I drove up to Arkansas on Saturday to meet up with Jason. He took off work on Friday and went up to go hunting. We visited with Jason's family and then spent the night. Jason killed two deer and Cooper had a very good time. We got back Sunday evening and Coop was worn out from all our traveling!!

Sunday night we went to Fall Festival at our church, Airline Baptist in Bossier. If you are looking for a wonderful place to worship, this is the place! Cooper was a lion (thanks to Mel)!! He didnt mind his costumes at all and actually made growling noises when we first put it on him!

Last night, we went to Pumpkin Shine on Line with Candace, Tigger and Tanner. Ms. Cindy's house is in on Betty Virginia Park and we had the best time! We ate taco soup and Halloween cookies and then went to check out all the pumpkins! We didnt put the boys in their costumes but they had a great time anyway! Tanner started screaming halfway through the walk and Coop was out like a light before we even made it to the other side of the park!!

Yesterday, The Lyles and The Mason family made a visit to the Pumpkin Patch at Ashbury Church in Bossier. Candace and I dressed the boys in their matching Halloween outfits!!! It was 85 degrees so we didnt put any pants on them! At first, Jason and Tigger thought it was a goofy idea, but I really think they had they best timeafter we got there!! Jason was on a mission to find the perfect pumpkins for Cooper!! We finally left with three pumpkins and I cant wait to carve them!!!

My Birthday Weekend!

On Friday, Cooper, Jason and I went to eat for my early birthday dinner! Jason and Tigger left the next morning to go the the Arkansas Razorback game. I wasnt feeling too well so Coop and I hung out all day and watched LSU football. My Mom came over to bring me my birthday gift and visited for a while. Later that evening, Tanner and Candace came over and we ordered pizza! Some might consider it boring but I had the best birthday gift with me all weekend, Cooper!

On Friday, Melanie, Mason, Cooper, Julie and I met for lunch at the Pizza Place! They have the BEST pizza and I wanted some before I went back to work on Monday :( Afterwards, Melanie and Mason came over to the house and we hung out all afternoon!!!

Cooper and I went shopping at Toy's R' Us the other day because I thought he needed more toys! (I don't think Jason would agree!!) I tried all the toys out on him first and he LOVED this monkey the best!!!! You pull the cord and the monkey shakes!!! Cooper thinks this is hysterical!!
